Mahindra plans to initially acquire its INGLO batteries and motor from BYD for their earlier models such as the XUV.e8. However, for the Thar.e, they are likely to opt for more powerful motors sourced from Volkswagen. Currently, these motors deliver 80kW for the front axle and 210kW for the rear axle. Please note that these power figures might change. Additionally, they offer torque of 135Nm and 535Nm respectively, which is available from idle speed.
