Vespa GTS 300- With regards to its appearance and features, the GTS 300 will bear many resemblances to other scooters manufactured by the Italian automaker. For instance, when it displayed 30 MPH, the actual speed was around 28 MPH, and when it showed 60 MPH, the true speed was roughly 56 MPH.

On the other hand, the odometer provided accurate measurements, recording an actual trip of 11.0 miles. During my ride using GPS, I reached a top speed of 77 MPH (indicated as 82), although I didn’t push the scooter to its limits due to its newness. With some break-in miles and a lighter rider, it is possible that the top speed may slightly increase.

Vespa GTS 300 Features

Since its introduction in the 1940s, the Vespa GTS 300 has retained its monocoque chassis and swingarm front end. Torque

Vespa has recently introduced the 300 HPE (High-Performance Engine), a water-cooled motor with four strokes and four valves. This engine is the most powerful ever installed in a Vespa scooter. The power and torque of the single-cylinder engine remain almost the same, with a delivery of 17.5kw/23.8hp at 8250rpm and 26Nm/19.2ftlb of torque at 5250rpm. The fuel system is controlled by the latest generation Magneti Marelli MIUG4 ECU, which has an improved calculating capacity.
