Ather Bikes In India:-Ather Energy was founded and is backed by the promoters, Tiger Worldwide and Legend MotoCorp. Its approach is aggressive: its products promise to be the best-looking products, and it also plans to set up a charging foundation to support its products, starting with metros. Bengaluru tops the list, followed by Chennai and then Pune. Its initial two item bikes are the 450 and 340. On offer is a top speed of 72 kmph, a range of up to 60 km and 0-40 kmph in 7.3 seconds. It also gets a 7-inch display instead of the traditional instrument cluster.

Ather Energy began its journey as a start-up founded by IITians Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain. It was probably the first new brand to enter the electric bike segment. Not at all like other electric bikes that were slow, heavy and had little reach, Ather’s plan was to build a cutting edge and quick electric bike. It came into limelight when Sachin Bansal, the operator of Flipkart, invested resources in the brand.

The Ather 450X is the most mechanically advanced and premium electric bike ever launched in India. The Ather 450S is to be launched in India in August 2024 in a general price range of Rs 1,29,000 to Rs 1,30,000. Currently available bicycles similar to the 450S are the Okaya Fast, the BGauss D15, and the Television iQube. Another cycle television similar to the 450S is the Creon which is launching in India in August 2024. The 450S is the base variant in the Ather’s electric bike line-up. Its valuation is Rs. 1.29 lakh and is set to make a big appearance soon. The 450S is also the cheapest Ather electric bike as per the above estimates.
