This motor option comes with a six-speed MT and six-speed force converter AT gearbox. The Alcazar recently got a new 160hp, 1.5-litre Super Petroleum motor and also gets the 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Creta.

It will also be priced well above the price of the current model, while it is expected to be launched in the Indian market in mid-2024. With the model year update, Hyundai Alcazar prices currently range from Rs 16.10 lakh to Rs 20.25 lakh for the petrol variant. Similarly, the diesel variant is priced between Rs 16.71 lakh and Rs 21.10 lakh (all costs, ex-showroom area). Hyundai has started testing the Creta facelift in India. According to media reports, Hyundai plans to introduce the revived Creta in the mainstream by 2024. Looking at the similarities between the two, the Alcazar facelift could be introduced in the same time period.
