Maruti eVX Reviews- Maruti Suzuki showcased a brand-new concept at the 2024 Auto Expo in Delhi. The concept, known as eVX or ‘Emotional Versatile Cruiser’, sets the standard for Maruti’s electric plans in India. Developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan, the eVX concept provides a glimpse into a forthcoming mid-size electric SUV. According to the report, the Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept test prototype was observed being tested in Krakow, Poland.

Unlike the prototype showcased at the Auto Expo, the test vehicle showcases a different set of alloy wheels and a design that closely resembles the final production model. Upon initial inspection, there are no significant differences between the concept version and the test prototype seen in Poland. This dedicated platform will serve as the foundation for numerous upcoming electric cars from Maruti Suzuki.

The eVX Concept features a 60kWh battery pack equipped with advanced battery technology. While specific power outputs have not been disclosed, Maruti Suzuki asserts that the vehicle has a driving range of 550 kilometres.

Exterior

In terms of appearance, the eVX has a rugged and aggressive stance. It showcases an upright front end and a clamshell bonnet design reminiscent of the new-generation Brezza. The grille is not prominent, and the ‘S’ logo has been relocated lower on the bumper. The headlamps and daytime running lights feature sleek V-shaped cuts on both sides. Moving lower down, there is a striking bumper design that incorporates noticeable skid plates. On the side profile, there are distinct lines around the wheel arches and flush door handles.

Interior

Maruti Suzuki has not released the interior view of the eVX Concept, however, they assure that the platform provides superior cabin comfort, convenience, and connectivity features. The eVX is equipped with large aero wheels that are blacked out and have low-profile tires. At the rear, there is a LED tail lamp strip positioned high and running across the tailgate. Above it, there is a narrow windscreen topped by a sporty roof-mounted spoiler. The black cladding extends to the back with a more robust bumper that includes contrast-finished bash plates.

Powertrain

When it comes to the powertrain, Maruti had revealed during the 2024 Auto Expo that the prototype featured a 60kWh battery capable of offering a range of 550km. The final version is anticipated to have a battery of similar capacity, providing a real-world range of approximately 500km. However, it is expected that the base model will come with a smaller battery of around 48kWh, resulting in a real-world range of about 400km.
