Top 10 Two Wheelers: The Hero Splendor, the Hero HF Deluxe, and the Honda Activa were the top-selling two-wheelers in India in December 2022. With a 25.45 percent share of the market, the Splendor remained the most popular bike with 2,25,443 sales. The Hero HF Deluxe saw a significant increase in sales, with 24,675 more units sold in December 2022 compared to December 2021. On the other hand, sales of the Splendor decreased by 1,316 units, or 0.58 percent YoY, from 2,26,759 units YoY. This led to a 12.16% market share and a 29.70% year-over-year growth rate. Activa, on the other hand, sold 96,451 units in December 2022, a decrease of 7.63 percent year-over-year. About Two Wheelers

The number of Pulsars sold increased by 9.8 thousand to 74,768. From 65,000 units, annual sales increased. From 38,142 units, sales of the TVS Jupiter increased almost 40 percent. Hero MotoCorp continued to dominate the two-wheeler market in the first month of the new year, selling 2,08,263 units, compared to 2,25,382 units sold during the same time last year, representing a negative 7.6% YoY sales growth. The Honda Activa came in second place and was also the most popular scooter in the country. Last month, the Activa sold 1,43,234 units in the United States, compared to 2,11,660 units in the same time frame a year earlier, representing a 32.3 percent year-over-year decrease in sales. The Honda CB Shine came in third with 1,05,159 sales in January 2024, down from 1,16,222 sales in the same time frame in 2022.

As a result, year-over-year volume decreased by 9.5%. The Honda HF Deluxe came in fourth place with 85,926 sales, compared to 1,34,860 sales during the same time last year, representing a negative 36.2 percent year-over-year sales growth. With 66,839 sales, the Bajaj Pulsar series finished fifth, down from 97,580 in January 2022.
