The engine is tuned to deliver 8.2Nm of peak torque and 9.5bhp of peak power. The SR125 is lightweight, weighing only 120 kg. This bike is equipped with fields of strength thanks to a useful engine that clearly gives an exciting riding experience.

The Keeway SR125 is powered by a 125cc single-chamber SOHC, air-cooled, fuel-mixed engine that produces 9.8PS at 9000rpm and 8.2Nm at 7500rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission. For perspective, India’s biggest hit 125 cc bike, the Honda Shimmer offers a much better 10.7PS and 11Nm. The SR125 has a 125cc single-chamber, air-cooled motor that provides enough power and torque for occasional highway rides and city commuting.

Braking & Suspension

The low-speed setup on the SR125 includes a 300mm circle at the front and a 210mm rotor at the rear, while the safety net includes an integrated stopping mechanism and a side-stand motor cut-off capability. Suspension duties are handled by an adaptive fork at the front and a preload-adaptive mono-shock at the rear. The bike runs on wire-spoke wheels shod with block design tyres.

The Keeway SR125 is based on a single downtube outline mated to an adjustable fork front and center and five-stage preload with movable twin back safeguards. The 125cc retro bike rides on 17-inch spoke wheels, wrapped with a 110-segment elastic front and center and a 130-segment unit at the rear from Yuanxing. The unit is matched to a 5-speed gearbox. Stopping power comes through standard fit disc brakes consisting of a 300 mm unit at the front and a 240 mm unit at the rear. Combi-braking system is available in the bike.

The retro-styled SR125 gets round fog lights at the front, single unit instrument group, chrome fuel-filler cap, 14.5-litre gas tank and a ribbed model for the seat covers. The component list includes Drove lighting and various computerized instrument clusters.
